Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a recipe from our friend Mary (aka Murrs) that has always been a big hit.  We tweaked it a bit and it was a big hit again because everyone loves buffalo and blue cheese!

Braised Bourbon Chuck Roast

I braised a chuck roast with some veggies.  The pot was deglazed with bourbon which added to the sauce.  It was tender and flavorful on a fall day!

Spinach and Feta Stuffed Sage Pork Chops

I felt a bit like I was in a cooking rut and wanted to switch it up somehow.  We hadn’t had pork in a while and I found an inspiration for spinach and feta stuffed pork chops rubbed with fresh sage.

Crock Pot White Chicken Chili

On Halloween night we changed up our usual chili recipes and made a white chicken chili. It was a nice change and the recipe could not be easier.  I don’t have any pictures of the process because there really wasn’t one. I had originally envisioned using my food processor to slice the cauliflower a la scalloped potatoes, but decided to work off the recipes I found online for my first ever attempt at making this and so kept the cauliflower pieces whole (in floret form).

Homemade Onion Rings

Onion rings are a fun food you don’t often make at home. We were deep frying chicken (you’ll see that soon too!) and figured why not throw something else in there too for a tasty side dish. My mind immediately went to onion rings, so here you go.
