Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is a recipe from our friend Mary (aka Murrs) that has always been a big hit.  We tweaked it a bit and it was a big hit again because everyone loves buffalo and blue cheese!

Start by spreading a package of cream cheese on the bottom of a dish.

Then cook about a pound of chicken or a little more and chop or shred it.  Mix it with a bottle of hot sauce and spread on the cream cheese.  A grocery store rotisserie chicken would be a nice texture here, but I would be concerned about it having too much of it’s own flavor.

Next, cover the top with blue cheese dressing.  We used the recipe that we have used before with wings and other dishes.  Fresh blue cheese is the key to a great dressing and dip.

Then bake at 350 for about 15-20 minutes until melted and bubbly.

Sorry the pic isn’t so great

  1. Wow!!! I’ll have to try that real soon. We love blue cheese 🙂

  2. My sister just made this yesterday and it was amazing! I ate way too much but didn’t regret it at all 🙂 Perfect football-watching food, too 🙂
