Margherita Pizza with Sausage

1 ball of pizza dough

2 cups of italian mix cheese

1 1/2 cups of pizza sauce/marinara sauce

1/2 pound fresh sausage

1 cup fresh diced tomatoes

1/2 cup fresh basil

2 tablespoons italian mix seasoning

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 450.

In a saute pan cook sausage and crumble into small pieces. After cooking, place cooked sausage on a paper towel to drain.

Dice tomatoes and set aside.

Rough chop the basil and set aside.

Spread pizza dough onto pizza pan or baking sheet.

Spread pizza sauce forming an even layer on the pizza dough.

Sprinkle cheese to adequately cover the sauce.

Add sausage, tomatoes and basil and spread evenly.

Cook for about 10-12 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
