2 lb. Flank Steak, cut into 8 pieces

1/2 cup balsamic

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons brown sugar

2 garlic cloves, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Directions:

Create marinade by combining balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and garlic in a large Ziploc bag. Add meat and marinade at room temperature for at least 25 minutes.

Heat grill or grill pan.

Add meat to grill and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook for three minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from grill and sprinkle with more salt.

Let stand 5 minutes.

Cut diagonally, across the grain, into strips.

Suggested accompaniments: tomato, onion, and blue cheese salad and garlicky spinach.
