Garlicky Green Beans Almondine

8-10 oz green beans, cut in half

3 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 cup thinly sliced almonds

salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Heat olive oil in a pan and add green beans. Cover.

Cook green beans for 5-7 minutes.

In a separate pan toast almond slivers.

Once green beans have cooked for 5-7 minutes add butter, garlic, almonds, and salt and pepper. Mix and let cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve immediately.
