Lemon Basil Pesto Recipe

1 cup firmly packed lemon basil

2 cloves garlic

1/4 cup sliced almonds

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese or sharp provolone cheese

1/4 to 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper to taste


Place all ingredients except olive oil into food processor or blender.

Process. Slowly drizzle in olive oil until it reaches the desired consistency.

Place atop fresh tomatoes and mozzarella or pasta.
